Research while in the Mattingley Lab

I manage a project that investigates potential changes in cognitive functioning after stroke. I conduct a range of neuropsychological tests with patients who have suffered an acute stroke and correlate their scores with the location of the lesion. Patients are recruited from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital as well as the Princess Alexandra Hospital. I also coordinate follow on research with the stroke patients to examine specific deficits in language, perception, mobility and social wellbeing.
